Authorship Author Rank

With all the talk in the internet marketing world about the mystery surrounding the disappearing of Google Authorship profiles on SERPS. I thought I would post a link to this simple but cool tool from Virante called AuthorRank. Here is my Author Rank according Virante. Dougy Hunt5.82 Check yours out here: beta.authorrank.org.

So what is Author Rank?

According to Virante: "Author Rank is Virante's approximation of author value as measured by the link graph. The algorithm takes into account many factors but primarily:

Use of Google Authorship.

Diversity of sites to which an author contributes.

Link value of sites to which an author contributes.

Volume of content produced by author.

Link value of content produced by author.

The easiest way to increase one's AuthorRank is to write better content on better sites. To be clear, there is no evidence that Google is currently using AuthorRank style metrics to influence search results."
