Dr Dave is no newcomer to the world of digital marketing. He started life as a e-marketing consultant in 1997 and hit the ground running, working for companies such as HSBC, Mercedes and 3M. Since then he has written five best-selling books on internet marketing, including ā€˜Digital Marketing: Strategy, Implementation and Practiceā€™ and the e-book ā€˜Brilliant B2B Digital Marketingā€™. In 2010, he co-founded Smart Insights alongside Dan Bosomworth and Stu Miller.

Heā€™s been recognised by multiple institutions as a leader in the industry. In 2004, the Chartered Institute of Marketing named Dr Dave in the top 50 influencers who have shaped the future of marketing, and the Department of Trade called him a leading individual in the E-commerce market. Heā€™s also an honorary member of the IDM – phew!
